Update: When searching for planning materials, I arrived upon this website. The website provides templates for so so many different aspects of planning- from storyboarding to scriptwriting. I will definitely benefit from many of these materials to remain organized throughout the duration of the planning phase.
Back to it. A shooting schedule is definitely necessary in order to achieve smooth filming days. To ensure that there is alignment in my vision and the production outcome.
